From 4 years ago, looking like total noobs, calling volleyballs ‘qiuqiu’ and being so proud of ourselves for managing to do as little as 50 consecutive digs,
to 4 years later, now, each of us having our own dreams to chase, our own stars to reach,
yet the memories are enough to last a lifetime ♥
Took the initiative to step out of my comfort zone today, and ended up being blessed so much more than being a blessing.

How to say "I love you"
Unintentionally walk with her past a park you’ve never been to before and suggest to walk through it, just to see. It’s late May, no clouds, soft and green. The temperature combined with the occasional breeze strikes you as reasoning that humans exist as iterations of cosmic DNA lucky to have stumbled upon the capacity for joy. Inadequately describe this feeling by telling her the walk feels the...
Half term’s here and DAYUMMMMM I’ve been waiting for this break practically ever since the term started in January hahaha. That being said, college has been nothing short of amazing - with your english teacher asking what happened in 1517 and someone answering “Jesus was crucified?”; having your non-Asian friends laughing at you for being a fail Asian and being more Asian...
This week I sent my brother, whom I’ve not spoken to for 3 years, a birthday present.
And had a proper conversation with my Dad for the first time in ages.
And emailed my mum apologising for the times when my bad temper gets the better of me - the very first time in my entire life I’m saying “sorry” to my mum.
And had a really deep talk with someone I hold really close...
James marked our poetry essays and commented on mine “I find it strange that you prefer psychology to english, Pinkie - great stuff.” Apart from misspelling my name (every single time for a year) and offering no constructive comment for improvement, it really made me rethink my uni choices.
When applying to UCL one of the questions I got asked was whether there were any other...

When researchers used an fMRI scanner to track perceivers’ reactions to images of people from various groups, the results suggested that dehumanized outgroup members are no longer perceived to be humans. When individuals viewed general images of people, the areas on the brain that typically respond when people process social information...
GROWING CREATIVES MINISTRY IS GROWING!!!!!!!!!!
Funny how the more technology transcends physical barriers to communication, the more we crave solitude instead; the more we build up emotional barriers.
Funnier, though, how we think we’re still the same person we were a month ago or a year ago but on hindsight we realise how much God has shaped us and for that, I love my daddy God so very much - overwhelmed by a cacophony of emotions, but...
2 papers down and 3 more to go. Not wanting to get out of bed is perhaps the most patronising excuse in the history of education but nonetheless I’m pretty hopeful about the next 3 papers and can’t wait to get them over and done with, then there’ll be no more claustrophobia inducing setting sending chills down my spine which is already crumbling from all the fatigue built up from...
Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal,...
